Privacy and cookies
What this website collects, why, and how to change your choice.
Who is responsible. This is the personal academic website of Addi Ait-Mlouk, Skövde, Sweden. For any question about your data, email addi.ait-mlouk@his.se.
Google Analytics (only with your consent)
If you click Accept in the cookie banner, the site loads Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*) and sends Google the page you visit, the page you came from, your device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. The data is used only for visitor statistics for this site; it is not used for advertising or shared for any other purpose.
The legal basis is your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)). Google Ireland Limited processes the data, and it may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Google keeps the data for the retention period set in the account, at most 14 months.
If you click Decline, or do nothing, nothing from Google is loaded. You can change your choice at any time: . Declining after accepting removes the Analytics cookies from this site.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type in short-lived server logs. This is needed to run the site (GDPR article 6(1)(f), legitimate interest).
Storage in your browser
The site remembers two things in your browser's local storage, which never leave your device: your light or dark theme, and your cookie choice.
If you email me, I use your message and address only to reply, and keep them for as long as the conversation needs.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to its processing, or withdraw your consent, by emailing addi.ait-mlouk@his.se. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
